Key Issues: TOG researchers have also been instrumental in the development and ongoing operation of the National Work Zone Safety Information Clearinghouse that is housed at TTI. This Clearinghouse has been designed to provide work zone safety information for use by practitioners in public organizations, private organizations, and the general public. Areas of information dissemination and technical assistance include highway work zone safety research results, innovative technologies, best practices, laws and regulations, public awareness, highway construction work site management, and similar topics. A significant portion of the information gathered and collated in the Clearinghouse has been made available on the web for easy access. http://wzsafety.tamu.edu
